Enquiries and forms

The spa and events forms collect your name, email address, telephone number and details needed for your enquiry: date, treatment or event type, and free-text message. The spa form also asks whether you are staying at the hotel. Required fields are marked; without them, we cannot properly respond. Please avoid including sensitive information in comments.

We use this information to reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a booking or quotation. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract and, for following up correspondence, our legitimate interest in managing customer relationships. The contact form prepares an email in your email application: its contents are not stored by that form on this website.

Recipients and retention

Your enquiries are received by the Monastery team responsible for replying. The spa and events forms send messages through the Resend email service; technical providers also assist with hosting and email. We keep correspondence for as long as necessary to process the enquiry and, if it leads to a booking or sale, to meet the related business and legal obligations.

When you follow links to Direct Book, TheFork, Secretbox or our concierge, you leave our website: those providers explain their own processing separately.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to certain processing, or request restriction or portability where applicable. Email info@lemonasteredesaintmont.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Cookies and loaded services

The website saves your language choice in your browser’s local storage to make navigation easier. This preference is used only for site functionality and does not require prior consent. At the time of writing, the site uses neither targeted advertising nor an audience analytics tool. No consent banner is therefore shown for these absent uses.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which connects to its servers and transmits technical information such as your IP address. Links to other platforms open their services only when you click them.
